Beyond The Finish Line

The Vancouver Sun hosts an evening of networking and an opportunity to connect with some of the most influential business minded individuals and entrepreneurs in Vancouver.

Beyond The Finish Line, explores the nature of elite athletes and excellence in business. The goal of the evening is to discuss the relationship between elite sports and the pattern of goal setting, focus, determination and persistence sparked in sport that may carry over and be applied to the business and professional world.

Among our guests are some of the most prolific entrepreneurs who have transferred their successes in sports into the business world. The evening will feature the opportunity to meet Ian Gillespie, CEO of Westbank Projects, Canadian Olympic stars Gary Reed, Charmaine Crooks (5 time Oympian & Silver Medalist), Professor Emeritus of Sports Medicine at UBC, Doug Clement and Supreme Court Judge of B.C., The Honourable William B. Smart.

The evening which feature the opportunity to meet these outstanding individuals as well as a panel to field questions from the audience.
